Only a few more days…

and my new kiddos will be walking through the door!
Such an exciting time. When they came for
orientation  I gave them this
"Getting Your Feet Wet in Kindergarten" activity.
“Click the image to grab it”
It is saved as a PDF-if you are interested in getting a word document let me know. :0)
One of my little tadpole’s parent read them the
question…”how many frogs can you count in our
classroom” and she came over to me and
said “Teacher…REALLY!”
If you checked out my teaching pal’s blog,
you will see the first homework assignment that we
have already given!
Finally, our “Furry Friend”-Mrs. Todisman is getting
her blog and room up and running, so hop on over
and wish her a great year too!

I love your Open House form - I am working on my own and I got some great ideas from yours, especially that last paragraph! Unfortunately my kiddos won't come with 1/2 the supplies on your list, if they bring any at all lol. I am insanely jealous that you get to have guinea pigs in the classroom! I think pets add so much, but my principal is not a fan of animals and so I am limited. I am going to see how she tolerates my hermit crabs and frogs and she did say I could hatch chickens in the spring, so that's a plus! Have a great school year and thanks for sharing!
